Discord ticket message templates you can copy
Ready-to-use ticket open messages for support, billing, bug reports, ban appeals, staff applications, and partnerships, with the variables TicketCord fills in when a ticket opens.
What a good ticket open message does
The first message in a ticket sets expectations. A good one greets the member by name, confirms what the ticket is about, asks for the details staff need, and says what happens next. It should also remind members never to share passwords or account tokens.
How the variables work
In TicketCord welcome messages, words in braces are replaced when the ticket opens. The templates below use these variables:
- {user} mentions the member who opened the ticket and notifies them.
- {displayName} shows the member's name without a ping. Use it instead of {user} if you do not want to notify them.
- {ticketNumber} is the ticket number with leading zeros. Add the # yourself.
- {description} lists every question the member answered in the form.
- {server} is the server name.

Welcome messages work on every plan; applications need Basic or higher. In the dashboard, open Bots, pick your bot and server, and open Messages under Messaging. Create a design, paste a template into a text block, and save. Then choose the design for a ticket type under Automatic messages, When a ticket opens, or give a single button, dropdown option, form, or application its own design in its panel settings.
