Dashboard Overview

Find your way around the TicketCord dashboard, from the sidebar to every server configuration tab

The dashboard at ticketcord.com/dashboard is where you add bots, connect them to servers, configure how tickets work, and handle tickets outside Discord. Sign in with your Discord account; there is no separate TicketCord password. This page explains the layout, what each sidebar entry does, and which server configuration tab holds which setting, so you can jump straight to the right place.

Anyone with a Discord account can sign in. You see the bots you own and the servers where a bot owner added you as dashboard staff on the Staff tab. Some pages and tabs are plan-gated and show a lock badge; the plan that counts is always the bot owner's.

Layout

  • Sidebar (left): the main navigation in four groups, a Getting started checklist while you are setting up, and your account menu at the bottom.
  • Top bar: breadcrumbs for the current page, the language switcher, the notification bell, and, on some pages, a primary action such as Add New Bot.
  • Content: the page itself. Configuration pages show a floating Save bar when you have unsaved changes; press Ctrl/⌘ + S or click Save.

Press Ctrl/⌘ + K for the command palette and ? for the shortcut list. See Keyboard Shortcuts.

Account menu

Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar. The menu shows your name, email, and plan, then Billing, an Appearance picker with Light, Dark, and System, and Sign out (which asks you to click Confirm sign out). Your name and avatar come from Discord and cannot be edited in TicketCord. See Account Settings.

Server configuration

Everything about how a bot behaves in one server is configured per server: Dashboard → Bots → your bot → Servers → the server, or Dashboard → Servers → Configure. The configuration page has a tab list on the left, grouped as below. Tabs with a lock badge need a higher plan; the Staff tab is editable by the bot owner only.

What happens when you save

  1. Edit any field. The floating save bar appears with the number of pending changes.
  2. Click Save or press Ctrl/⌘ + S. Only the fields you changed are sent.
  3. The bot picks up the new configuration for its next action; no restart is needed.
  4. If a value is invalid (for example a channel that belongs to another server), the save is rejected and the message names the field.

Limits and gotchas

  • Configuration is per server. Two servers using the same bot have separate settings; use Import Settings on the Servers page to copy one server's configuration to another.
  • Dashboard staff can edit every tab except Staff, and cannot manage webhooks, scheduled reports, or approval settings, which are owner-only.
  • Server data shown on the Servers page is a snapshot; click Sync servers after inviting a bot to a new server. Sync is limited to once every 5 minutes.
  • The plan that unlocks locked tabs is the bot owner's, so upgrading your own account does not unlock a server owned by someone else.

Common questions

Where do I configure my bot for a server? Dashboard → Bots → your bot → Servers → the server, or Dashboard → Servers → Configure. All per-server settings are on that page's tabs.

Where is the setting for X? Use the tab tables above. Ticket flow is under Ticket Lifecycle, panels and canned responses under Messaging, AI under AI & Knowledge, SLAs, hours, approvals, and reports under Service Levels, and webhooks under Platform → Integrations.

Why can I not edit some tabs? Either the tab is plan-gated (lock badge; the bot owner's plan counts) or it is owner-only, such as Staff, webhooks, scheduled reports, and approval settings.

How do my moderators get dashboard access? The bot owner adds them on the Staff tab of that server's configuration. Discord roles alone do not grant dashboard access.

Do I need to restart the bot after saving? No. Saved settings apply to the bot's next action.

Can I copy settings from one server to another? Yes. On Dashboard → Servers, open the server's menu and choose Import Settings to pull configuration and canned responses from another of your servers.

Where do I change the dashboard language or theme? Language is the switcher in the top bar; theme is Appearance in the account menu. See Account Settings.
