Data Export

Request a copy of your TicketCord data, what the export contains, and how long it takes

You can ask TicketCord for a copy of the personal data it holds about you. The export is a JSON file assembled by our team on request; there is no self-service download button in the dashboard. This supports the rights of access and portability under GDPR Articles 15 and 20, and the same email route also covers correction and deletion requests.

Data exports are available to every account on every plan, including Free and trial accounts. No plan upgrade is needed.

What the export contains

SectionIncludedNotes
ProfileAlwaysYour account ID, Discord ID, email, username and display name, current plan, and account timestamps
BotsAlwaysEach custom bot you added: name, Discord bot ID, client ID, avatar, active status, and timestamps
ServersAlwaysThe Discord servers your account can reach, as last seen: server ID, name, icon, owner flag, and your permission bitfield
Tickets and transcriptsOn requestTickets from servers you own. Say which servers you want included
Knowledge base contentOn requestSources and entries from servers you own
Login history and IPsOn requestOperational audit logs are kept for security; we run a specific query if you ask

Credentials are never part of an export. Bot tokens, webhook secrets, and OAuth credentials stay encrypted on our side and are not handed over in any format.

Billing and payment data is not in the export. Our payment provider holds those records, and you can reach its customer portal from Dashboard → Billing to download invoices and receipts. See Invoices.

Requesting an export

Open the Support page

Go to Dashboard → Support and scroll to Your Data Rights (GDPR). It lists the four rights we support: access, portability, rectification, and erasure.

Send the request by email

Use the email button on that page, or write to hi@ticketcord.com yourself. Put GDPR in the subject line so the request is routed quickly. Send it from the email address on your TicketCord account; that is how we confirm the request is yours.

The email button pre-fills a draft with your account email and a checklist of request types. Delete the lines that do not apply and add any detail, for example which servers' tickets you want included.

Wait for the reply

We aim to reply within two business days, and always within the 30-day statutory window. If we need something extra to confirm your identity, we ask in the reply rather than rejecting the request.

Receive the file

The export arrives as a JSON file. It is plain, machine-readable data you can keep locally or import into another tool. Repeated exports are easy to compare if you want to track what changed.

Tickets you can export yourself

If all you need is transcripts, you do not have to wait for a GDPR export. Every ticket on Dashboard → Tickets can be exported immediately as HTML, JSON, CSV, or PDF, and bulk export handles up to 50 tickets at once (10 for PDF). See Ticket Management and Bulk Operations. The GDPR export is for the account-level data you cannot download from the dashboard.

Deleting your account

Deletion is also requested by email and is not self-service. Email hi@ticketcord.com from the address on your account, say which account you want closed, and confirm in a sentence that you understand deletion is permanent. Requests are processed within two business days and you receive an email when it is done.

Deletion removes your profile, plan and login data, every custom bot you own, every server configuration you own (embeds, knowledge base, settings), and the tickets and transcripts tied to those servers. Active dashboard sessions are signed out immediately. Billing records are kept for tax and accounting reasons, and operational audit logs and backups age out on their normal schedule. We do not restore a deleted account from a backup, even if asked.

Export before you delete. There is no recovery window after deletion, and the export cannot be produced afterwards.

If the real goal is to stop paying, downgrade to Free instead. Your bots, configuration, and email address stay in place and nothing is charged. See Manage Subscription.

Limits and gotchas

  • One export covers one TicketCord account. If you sign in with more than one Discord account, request each separately from its own email.
  • Tickets and knowledge base content are included only for servers whose bot you own. Servers where you are dashboard staff for someone else's bot belong to that owner's export.
  • Ticket data can only be exported while it still exists. Transcripts follow the retention policy of the server (delete on close, 30, 90, 180, or 365 days, or manual), so a transcript that already aged out is not in the export.
  • Discord itself is not covered. Messages in ticket channels that were never captured by TicketCord are not in our export.

Common questions

How do I download all my TicketCord data? Email hi@ticketcord.com from the email on your account with GDPR in the subject. There is no download button; a member of the team assembles a JSON export and replies, normally within two business days.

Does the export include my bot tokens? No. Tokens, webhook secrets, and OAuth credentials are never included in any export. If you need a bot to work elsewhere, create a new token in the Discord Developer Portal.

Can I get the tickets from a specific server only? Yes. Say which servers you want in your request. Tickets and knowledge base content are only added on request, and only for servers whose bot you own.

What format is the export? A single JSON file. It is machine-readable so you can import it into another tool or keep it as a record.

How long does it take? We aim for two business days and never exceed the 30-day limit set by GDPR. If we need to confirm your identity we ask in the reply, which can add a round trip.

Is my billing history included? No. Invoices and receipts are available any time from Dashboard → Billing through the billing portal.

Can I delete my account myself? Not yet. Account deletion is requested by email and completed within two business days. Export first, because deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed from a backup.
